Our beloved Randy E. Bond, affectionaly called "Dink" passed into eternity on
Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at his residence.
Randy was born on May 17, 1971 to R.L. Bond and Eddie Kate Bond in Decatur, Illinois.Randy
was a member of Trinity C.M.E. Church and was employed at the Decatur Park District. He was
a veteran of the United States Navy.
Randy, loved the Lord, and enjoyed his Dallas Cowboys, going fishing, wiping on his car and
riding by checking on his sisters. He also enjoyed spending time with his "west side"
friends.
Randy leaves to cherish precious memories: his son Wezly (Stacy) Nieto; his father R.L.
Bond; sisters: Pearl (Jerome) Carson, Emma (Raymond) Saunders, Carolyn (Robert) Young,
Sandra (Lewis) Brummett; nieces: Misti (Cliff) Washington, Tiana Haynes, Jermila (Jessie)
Deberry, Shana Bond, Nicole Saunders; nephews: Bradley (Erika) Lowery, Jr., R.L. Bond III,
Clayrell Saunders, Tristan Carson, 6 great nieces, 4 great nephews, stepchildren: Mario,
Rashia, Rotosha; special friends: Eric Bond, Terry Jordan and a host of aunts, uncles,
cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Eddie Kate Bond, brother R.L. Bond, Jr. and his
maternal and paternal grandparents. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
