Adrian "Adro" Chatman, 21, of Decatur departed this life on Tuesday, September 26, 2017. Adrian was born on January 23, 1996 in Decatur, Illinois the son of Angelique Chatman and Anthony Ewing Sr. He attended Decatur Public Schools and had recently enrolled in an educational program. Adrian was full of energy. He loved music and dancing. He kept things going just like a "Big Kid" would. He took pride in his appearance and made sure he "stepped out in style." Adrian leaves to cherish his fond memories: his parents, Angelique Chatman and Anthony (Melody) Ewing Sr.; children: Andrenne Chatman, Ariel Flagg, Adien O'Neal and Londyn Macklin; sisters: Shaniqua Bradford, Marrisha Blythe, Tierra Ewing, Anejhia Doss; brothers: Anthony Ewing, Jr., Demarco Ewing, Jeremiah Ewing; grandparents: Cherry (James) Mabon, and Louise Chatman; godmom, Tywanda Neal, special friend, Latisha Rogers and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Adrian was a loving and caring, son, father, brother and uncle. He had a smile on his face every time you seen him. His presence will truly be missed. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Tommie Johnson and Anthony (Tony) Harper and niece, Cali Drake.
