      Jesse Coleman Sr. was called home to be with his savior Jesus Christ on Friday, January 26, 2018. Jesse Coleman Sr. was born into this life on June 28, 1957 in Cairo, Illinois to the union of his parents James Coleman Sr. and Pauline Coleman. Jesse later moved to Decatur, IL where he worked for Wagner Castings for many years. Jesse also lived his life surrounded with the love of his family and the love of sports as he was an avid Chicago Bears fan, but in July of the year 2000 Jesse sought after a greater love when he confessed Christ as his savior and was later baptized on July 23, 2000. Jesse Coleman Sr. leaves to cherish his loving memories, wife of 39 years Zelma Coleman, three sons, Jesse Coleman Jr, Bryan Coleman, Tyler Coleman, two daughters, Sheena Coleman and Ariel Coleman. Jesse also leaves to cherish his memories, two grandchildren, Josiah Coleman and Jiana Coleman, two brothers, James Coleman Sr. and Steven Coleman, and two sisters Carol Coleman, Jilana Coleman and "brother from another mother" Donald Green. Jesse Coleman Sr. was preceded in death by his mother Pauline Coleman and two brothers Gordon Coleman and Jerry Coleman. Services Saturday, February 3, 2018. Visitation: 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM Funeral Service: 11:30 AM at Salem Baptist Church (2650 Taylorville Road, Decatur). Burial: Greenwood Cemetery Professional Services entrusted to Walker Funeral Service.
