At the residence of the bride's mother Mrs. A. A. Hammond, 1319 East Leafland avenue, Wednesday, Miss Hallie A. Spencer was married to Irvin Edgar of Digby, O. The wedding party took their places beneath an arch of African Camia and beautiful trailing ivy, and at half past nine Rev. C. Galeener, the presiding elder, spoke the words that made them man and wife. Miss Lotta G. Hammond played the wedding march. The bride wore a beautiful costume of cream colored bride's cloth with satin and valenciennes lace trimmings. She carried a bouquet of China Astors. Misses Lotta and Dora Hammond, sisters of the bride, were the bridesmaids. Both were dressed in elegant white costumes. After the ceremony the wedding supper was served. The young couple will for the present reside at 1319 East Leafland avenue until they make arrangements to go to housekeeping. Mr. Edgar was formerly engineer and plumber for the Montgomery & S---- oli fields at Digby, O., but will make Decatur his future residence. A number of relatives and friends witnessed the ceremony, among them being Misses Emma H. Edgar and Gertrude Edgar, sisters of the groom, from Ivesdale. The bride's former home was at Monticello. She is well known as a most estimable young lady and has many warm friends.
