Iyonna Victoria Johnson, 9 years old of Decatur IL went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday April 22, 2020. Iyonna, known to her family as “Yonna pooh” was born on September 27, 2010 in Decatur IL to Abby Delong and Demar Johnson. A quiet, curious child, Iyonna was known by her family and friends to be funny and smart. "She had a very creative side where she loved to make videos, write stories and create gifts for others. Iyonna was the type of child who wanted to make sure that everyone had what they needed. She would often beg her mother to drive her around town to give food or money to the homeless people that she would frequently see along the side of the road. She was student of Enterprise Montessori School of Decatur, where she loved to attend each day. Iyonna is survived by her parents, Abby and Demar; her brother, Theo Delong (better known to her as “brother”) ; her sister, Amauri Johnson of Indianapolis IN; her paternal grandparents, Mia and Dexter Jarrett of Decatur IL; her maternal grandparent, Larry Delong of Decatur IL; her aunts and uncles, Randy and Paige Jarrett of Decatur IL, Erin and Adam Buxton of Decatur, IL , Aydasha Jarrett of Arilington, Texas; her “twin” cousin Jayden Jarrett, cousins, Grace Buxton, Randy Jarrett Jr, Brooks Buxton, Dominic Jarrett, Reese Jarrett; Sanai and DJ Jarrett. Iyonna loved her pet Ginny pig, Emmy.
