      The funeral of the late Ellen Odor took place Sunday at 1030 am at the church of God, and the services were largely attended by neighbors and friends of the decesaed. Rev. J. Bernard, the pastor officiated. The floral tributes were very pretty and appropriate. The interment was at Greenwood. The pallbearers were Jacob Fisher, J. T. Werner, George Lyons, J. S. Boyer, John Good and W. J. McGee. Ellen Odor nee Trimmer, was born in Terry, Pa, Dec. 21, 1816. She was one of a family of fourteen children, all of whom have passed away but her youngest brother, Henry Trimmer. While quite young she converted and became a member of the M. E. Church. When she moved to Illinois in 1853 she united with the church of God at Boiling Springs of which she as been in earnest and consistent member ever since. On December 22, 1861, she was married to Joseph Odor who died during the fall of 1862 in the month of September and for the past 43 years she has remained a widow. Her aged sister departed this life, December 20, 1895, aged 79 years.
