On July 25, 2021 our beloved "BooBoo" left his earthly home. Terrence Lee Smith 40, of Decatur Illinois was born April 8, 1981, to Terrence Adams and Betha Smith. Booboo (as he was known to all) was educated in Decatur, IL District 61 public school system. He later received his G.E.D. He also received certification in HVAC Heating & Cooling. Booboo lived his life to the fullest. He had a light within that shined bright. If you met him, he earned a place in your heart. He loved music and dancing, as he was the "Life" of any party. He had an extraordinary gift to connect with people. He took pride in giving back to the community and loved buying for children. He displayed great adoration and love to his family and friends which was never ending. His untimely transition has broken our hearts but the life he lived will always be cherished and remembered by his parents, Terrence Adams and Betha Smith. His children: Brandon Bell, Tony Singleton (Woodie), Nyleia Smith, Antione Bryson, Trinity Smith, Brylon Smith and Briana Smith. Brothers: Tyrell (Terina) Smith and Terveris Smith (Baba). Sisters, Terieica Smith, Terika Smith, Tenika Smith, and Lakia Hyder. Grandchildren: Ny'lah, By'leah, and Nylan. Aunts and uncles: Paul (Mechicko) Smith, Carolyn (Thonchel) Brazier, Sharon Smith, Sandra Smith, Florence Parsons, Karen Adams, Wayne Adams, Michael (Jen) Adams, and Martha Joe Cox. Special cousins and friends, Lee Jones, Nicolas Dimmer, Tony (Cynthia) Laster, Chaz Forrest, Michael Wright, Jerry Taylor, Calvin Carson, Steve Couch, Shaquita Smith, Olisha Smith, Sherica Douglas, Colisha Smith, Vivian Laster, Lil Anthony Smith, Neecee Adams, Cinnamon Parsons, Tracy Parsons, Ethan Brown, Eddie Smith, Andre' Smith, Danae and Danique Smith. Booboo is preceded in death by his grandparents: Eddie Sue Smith, and Bessie Adams; Shakita Smith, Jacon Smith, Shaylon Bond and Ki'shan Smith.
