Arcarius Chavez Anderson ascended into the heavens at the early age of 22 on Saturday, November 1,
2014. Arcarius affectionately known as "Cari Q" was born on April 9, 1992 in Decatur, Illinois the
son of Reginald Anderson and Jatawnu Woodland. Arcarius was baptized at the age of 9 at the St. Paul Baptist Church in Sacramento, CA. He assisted at Homework Hangout under the direction of his uncle, Keith Anderson, working with the youth. Arcarius enjoyed playing basketball, drawing and was a superb dancer but spending time with his family and friends is what he enjoyed the most. His amazing smile, charming and witty personality would light up any room he entered. His loving presence with truly be missed. Arcarius leaves to cherish his loving memories: parents, Reginald Anderson and Jatawnu Woodland both of Decatur; daughter, Arcariah C. Anderson and her mother, Fatezia Gause; paternal grandparents, Ezell and Johnnie Anderson of Decatur, great grandmother, Sarah Woodland of Decatur; siblings, Shalanda Johnson Reynolds of Indianapolis, IN, DeeAndre Woodland of Decatur, Matthew Rowe of Dallas, TX, Amanda Krueger of New York, Mattisha (Quincy) Houston, Van G. Anderson, Reginald (Tyneria) Anderson, Jr., Jayvon K.Anderson all of Decatur; special uncles, Ezell Anderson, Jr., Cortez Wooland, Odysseus Thomas; special aunt, Coretta Howard, Killeen, TX; girlfriend, Minnie Gadison; special friends, Charles Palmer, Jeremy Hines, Jerome Jones, Elga Shelby, Julius Lee and Quavie Smith. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mattie P. Thomas and James E. Priddy, brother, Reginald T. Anderson III, uncle, Buford Woodland, nephew, RaShawn, Kennedy, twin nieces, Kamron and Kylee, cousins, Thaddeus Roeder and Lawrence Woodland, Jr. Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Main Street Church of the Living God. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 pm Friday, November 7, 2014 at Walker Funeral Service. Burial: Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials: Arcarius Anderson Benefit Fund-Land of Lincoln Cr�dit Union.
